Art for Africa invites you into the world of high realism portrait and wildlife painting with internationally renowned artist Daniel Taylor. The journey begins in Africa, follows the path of a creative vision, and ends in Canada with high realism masterworks on canvas.

The project's goal is to raise awareness and funds for innovative projects that link community development needs with conservation. It also supports education of schoolchildren in Africa.

What's on the easel?

Cross River Gorilla, South West Cameroon

March 2008 - Daniel has nearly completed the painting of the Cross River Gorilla!

The Cross River Gorilla is the most endangered primate of Africa and one of the world's 25 most endangered primate species.

February 2008 - The painting of the chimpanzee mother and baby is nearly completed and Daniel and will soon start with an amazing scene of endangered Cape Griffon vultures perching on rocks.

December 2007 - the painting of a lion & lioness is now available. Check the online gallery for prints!
